I am Mariona Arabia Ventura, born in Granollers in 1997. I am a philologist with a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (UB) and postgraduated with a course in Language and Editorial Services (UB). I have also done several stages and courses on foreign languages, creative writing, communication, and marketing. I like to be up-to-date with the Cataln literary scene, but also with the French and English. I also consider myself an organized, creative, empathetic and responsible person.
I have experience in various parts of the book industry. I have collaborated as editor, corrector, and bookseller; and I have translated the Canadian classic, Anna de Teules Verdes (Anne of Green Gables) by L.M.Montgomery (Baula, 2021), and the preface and paratexts of Alice in Wonderland (Baula, 2020).
In my free time I dedicate myself to the creation of content and literary dissemination.
Meyonbook is a literary space that was born with the motivation of entrusting passion for reading, authors and literary places to travel to and at the same time promote Catalan culture.
